This summer i have been participating in a mentorship programme with Michael Tardioli at SPAO (School of Photographic Arts Ottawa). So every Friday morning I dutifully get on the LRT and get off at Pimisi where I should make a quick connection to the 85 that basically drops me at the door. The best-laid plans etc…two weeks ago I had to wait 20 mins and last week I waited 36 minutes! So what to do in the blazing hot sun? Well I had a camera and tried to make the best of it.
Waiting for the elusive #85 was not in the cards so I walked back throough the local neighbourhoods to the LRT. BW to me was better able to convey the atmosphere of the buildings as it is not an area with wondrous architecture..
That is exactly why one must have ones camera at all times 🙂
