Here’s more from the House on the Rock.
There is a separate carousel just for dolls. It seems kind of creepy to me.
I’ve focused on the weirder stuff, but there are also parts that are pretty, even restful, in a conventional way. But all in all, it feels like the architectural analog to Coleridge’s poem Kubla Khan: the result of someone’s opium dream.
I was wondering why type of a person would build and “furnish” a house like this one, hence had to go read up on the background and the owner. Very strange place but definitely one that needs to be visited. Thanks for sharing and bringing this place to our attention.
Wow what a very strange house the owner must be a very different person, Very interesting captures. Thanks for sharing Tom
