Located in Lane County’s Eugene-Springfield metropolitan area, Armitage is a 64-acre oasis a few miles south of historic Coburg.
Its natural amenities include old growth deciduous and evergreen trees. A half-mile, self-guided interpretive trail constructed by the McKenzie Watershed Council winds through undeveloped portions of the park
Armitage offers visitors a full array of day use amenities including a paved boat ramp, ample trailer parking, volleyball and horseshoe pits, a dog park, and several large group picnic sites with electricity, cooking facilities, and drinking water.
Lovely photos!
Thanks Nancy
Reminds me of some places here
Thanks for the visit Peter
This Armitage park looks very similar to Lincoln Memorial Park we have around here. It’s one of those parks I visit on a regular basis, because just like your photos there are tons of opportunities to click the at shutter.
It had been awhile for me to visit that park, they charge to park 🙂 This year I bought yearly passes to groups of parks early on not knowing the fuel was going thru the roof haha However it is a peaceful park in off season Thanks for the visit Camellia and the nice comparison park comment
