Purple iris flowers against a white barn
This photo was taken some years ago in Pennsylvania’s Amish Country. We were visiting some friends and I still had a film camera (like I said, SOME years ago). The scene struck me then and the image is still striking today. Purple flowers against the clean white of the barn. Simple and timeless.
