Finally made it. Moonrise over the pines in Acadia National Park.
On the drive onto Mt. Desert Island (which contains Acadia National Park), I saw this scene and I thought of Ansel Adams’ Moonrise over Hernandez. Now, I’m no Ansel Adams, but I love that photo and what a way to start my vacation!
