Late afternoon at the wood pile

There are some scenes which you see, day after day, year after year, that you think “someday, I’ll get a shot of that.”  But there is never a convenient opportunity to get it. This is one of those scenes. I wanted to get a shot of this woodlot in the afternoon.  I’ve always been driving by with nowhere to stop.  That changed when we moved last year – now it’s within walking distance, and I got a chance for a long walk and a shot.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
