My favorite flowers, lilacs, in bloom a little early

Yesterday, we went out for some shopping and an early dinner. On our way home, we decided to pick up a few things and ran past my son’s home. We noted that the lilacs (that WE planted) were in bloom. We did snip a few to take with us (of course) – but these are, by far, my favorite flowers. The color and the aroma, though short lived, always make me smile.
