Dirt road into the misty rainy woods
Yesterday, we drove up state to see my in-laws. It was a dreary and very rainy day. When we reached the summit of a nearby “mountain”, I asked my wife to take a brief stop while I took a 5 minute walk / break. From the parking area, there is a dirt road that ascends to the top. I didn’t make it to the top, but the view was almost magical – even getting wet.
