Sunset down a country road

While out for a drive – chasing sunsets – we chanced upon this rise in the road and I asked my wife to slow down. I was able to get this one shot of the sun setting over the country road. The home with the pillars and the pickup truck seemed to add to the “country” feel.

Leaf on a fallen log: When out for a hike, you come across many such scenes as fallen leaves. The challenge of spring and summer is that most of the colors are green. Early spring allows you to catch some green and the bare grays and browns of the winter left-overs.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
