Sunset behind the pine tree

Always chasing the sunsets (sunrises areĀ  just too early). I try to walk or notice on drives, the colors, the clouds, and the sun position at sunset. I didn’t quite position the sun exactly behind the trunk – but I think that would have hidden it too much. I like the way the sun shines through the branches.

Memories of a Spring Day in Maine

On one of our (mostly) annual vacations in Maine, we were just outside Southwest Harbor (I believe) and stopped to look at this dock. It was at a time of day when it was relatively void of people, but fully blue sky and sunshine. Some of my oldest child’s engagement photos were taken here.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
