Streaks of Clouds to End the Day

Out later than I wanted to be – not early enough for the sun setting but basically, in the dark.  Walking home, I came into a clearing and saw the expansive sky open up with the color and streaks of clouds almost at the horizon. The varied colors with the sillhouettes of the trees and hills make the photo.

Thursday: Colors

Sunset Colored Clouds on a Blue Sky: I was taught with sunrises and sunsets to always look on both sides of the sky. This night, the sunset side was cloudless and, well, boring. The other side showed these faint pink clouds on a fading blue sky. I liked it.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
