Photo of the Day 195/365

Dramatic Morning Sky

On the way to work yesterday morning, the sky caught my eye. Normally, the sun is now too high (for me) to capture a good morning photograph. There are times when the fog or mist makes the scene interesting enough but normally not. Yesterday, the sky was extremely dramatic and I had to pull over to get a couple of photos. This one, with the grasses in the foreground and trees behind make the photo.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challnege

Friday: Forms: I took this photo on a business trip to New York City. We were in a hotel downtown and I had the opportunity to do some photo-walking. I caught this view on one of the mornings from the street with a moderate telephoto lens. Years later, I am still amazed that I caught this image – it’s too good to be mine.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
