Photo of the Day 232/365

At the Very End of  the Sunset

This photo was taken yesterday at the end of the day.  The sky was clear right up until sunset. I really didn’t have high hopes for any photo. Nature always surprises me with its beauty. The light clouds were there, the sun rays casting shadows in sky and the sun just dipping behind a lone tree.  The glow of the sun on the clouds – it was beautiful.

Quote of the day: “The true measure of a man isn’t how he behaves in moments of comfort and convenience but how he stands at times of controversy and challenges.” – Martin Luther King

Big Clouds Coming

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Sunday Nature: On a clear day, sometimes the clouds can form on the horizon and appear to be looming storms.  These clouds were not storm clouds – they may have been the leading edge of a weather front, but no rain came from them. They just floated by and minded their own business. I used monochrome to emphasize the blue sky and the puffy clouds.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
