Photo of the Day 240/365

Last Rays of Sun at the Lake

I took this photo last weekend at the lake. The air was still, the winds were calm, and we had just mounted the kayak to it’s mooring. I looked out and saw the evening approaching on the lake. The sun was setting and it’s last rays were just hitting the other side of the lake. The stillness allowed the reflections to be magnificent. A really nice end to the day.

Quote of the day: “A long time ago I learned not to explain things to people. It misleads them into thinking they’re entitled to know everything I do.” – Lisa Kleypas

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Closeup: This photo was taken just outside of our karate school, one day before classes began. At the time, I didn’t really know what tree or flower it was. Someone looked at the photo and told me and it was an moment where I realized that they grew in the north, too….I know, duh, but they are pretty – albeit a bit messy on the cars.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
