Photo of the Day 262/365

Sunset Among the Tall Grass

I took this while out on another “sunset walk” last weekend. The sun was just setting through the grass of the field and the trees on the other side. I was standing on the roadside looking up into the field. The road is actually lower than the field so it was relatively easy to move to a spot that showed the setting sun this way. Summer is moving quickly and I can’t wait for the autumn colors but I’ll miss the warmth of summer.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Art: This photo was from a few years ago when we toured Valley Forge National Park. The different memorials provided places and opportunities to pause and contemplate the soldiers and their efforts during our War of Independence from Great Britain.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
