Photo of the Day 269/365

Afternoon Sunlight Lighting up the Trees

This photo ws was taken on a long afternoon walk.  Late in the walk, when the sun was starting it’s downward slide, I noticed that the sunlight was streaming though the trees on the west side of the road.  I got to the far side of a clearing when I noticed these trees with brightly lit leaves and the white grasses in the foreground and the image was too good to pass up.

Long Shadow Facing the Lake

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday: Art: I took this photo on a cold day some time ago The leaves were gone and the shadows were long. While it was a  good “brisk” walk, there wasn’t much to photograph, so I decided to take a selfie of sorts. I saw the open grass leading to the lake and saw the long shadow – and voila’ – I had a shot.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
