Photo of the Day 277/365

Misty Field just before Dawn

I took this photo yesterday morning on the way to work. I’ve shot this field before at sunrise with the mist but I just could not pass it up. The mist seemed to hang in the air, reaching up from the field. The soft colors of the dawn were just creeping into the sky. It was just a pretty sight and made for a pretty photo – and a nice view on the way to work.

Wednesday Minimalism: This photo was taken this past weekend at our local lake in Pinchot State Park. I was walking along the lakeside trail when I notice the late afternoon blue sky reflecting in the water with just a few reeds. I decided to see if I could position myself to get them in an almost abstract view. I don’t think I made “abstract” but I do think I achieved the minimalist them of today.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
