Autumn Colors on the Lakeside Trail

I took this photo yesterday.  I needed to clear my head from some internal stuff and went for a drive to the local state park and took a long walk. Along the way, in spots, the Autumn colors were starting to pop out. In many sections, the greens of summer were still present so this view was really nice with the bright blue sky. Over the next few weeks, the colors should really be popping – can’t wait.

Autumn Colors Coming Down

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Closeup: While out for a hike yesterday, I kept looking down where I saw Autumn colors and noticed, many times, that the leaves of many hues were already on the ground. These leaves just seemed to be from short plants coming up while others were leaves coming down – so I titled this one as I did – the colors seem to be coming down.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
