Photo of the Day 306/365

Old Barn on an Autumn Hill

While on our mini-vacation, last week, we went over about a dozen covered bridges. On the other side of a foot-traffic-only bridge, I noticed a farm across the fields. This old barn was on the hillside and I could not resist taking a walk, getting out my longer lens and capturing this bucolic, country scene. The fall colors, while muted due to the clouds, were still spectacular.

Thursday Expressions

This shot of my child was from a number of years ago. We were out in the fields while on vacation and she was looking at something in the tall grass and I decided to take this shot. She was searching for something here, and as we all are, is still searching to find her way.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
