Photo of the Day 328/365

Path to the Knob at Dusk

shot this photo after we had seen the sunset on “The Knob” on Cape Cod.  We had worked hard (for old folk) navigating the trails to “The Knob” and had managed to make it there for sunset.  There were a number folk there to see it. For me, the sky was really clear and without clouds, sunsets are tough to shoot. When I got this shot, my wife rubbed it in about good sunset shots with clear skies – sigh – she was right. This shot was very nice, despite the absence of clouds.

I took this photo yesterday on Cape Cod. We happened upon a set of old looking beach buildings. The sign said “Private Beach” and “Swim at Your Own Risk”.  I took this shot of the stairs leading up to those buildings. These were old changing rooms – no doors – and gray wood with age.  They were so cool looking.  But the stairs up to them were quite foreboding.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
