Photo of the Day 335/365

Soft Afternoon Clouds over the Sea Grass

I took this photo last weekend at Cape Cod. We had just reached a lighthouse as the late afternoon sun was sifting through the clouds and after I took a number of shots of the lighthouse (at least one was shown is a previous post) – I turned around and saw these clouds over the ocean and sea grass. The pastel colors and the stark blues of the ocean and golden sea grass made this photo beautiful to me.

Spiral Staircase at Winterthur

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Friday Forms:  I shot this photo while on a tour earlier this year at the Winterthur Museum and grounds. The DuPont property is huge and this staircase is one of the first things seen on the tour. I’ve taken shots before but I wanted some new angle of view so shot from underneath with an angle to capture as much of the spiral as I could without breaking the rules.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
