Photo of the Day 360/365

Dawn About to Break Through the Trees

This was shot a few weeks ago on on of our weekend road trips. We were traversing a back road on the way to pick up my oldest and his wife. I love back roads because we are forced to drive slower and you get to see more scenery. I happened to look to the east and saw, over the hill, the sun just starting to break over through the sparse set of trees. I was able to catch a couple of shots and the scene was more than worth it.

Digital Art of a Quite Scene in New York

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Art: I took the original photo for this in New York City a number of years ago. We were walking from place to place and happened upon this quite scene with the yellow trees, the small alcove with seats, and no people. It was a cold, late autumn day and people were bustling about. I have always liked this image, so I thought I’d take a hand at some digital “art” manipulation to make it either better or different. I used the Moku Hnaga app again and am pleased with the subtlety of the effect.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
