Photo of the Day 17/366

Snowy Winter Sunset

We got our first “cold” snow of the season yesterday – the snow fell to about 4 inches and the temperatures aren’t getting above freezing very soon. I dropped off a co-worker at her home and turned and saw this sunset across the fields and could not resist.  The sunlight just kissing the fields made this a nice shot.

Winter Day at the Lake

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Minimalism: This photo was taken some years ago. We had a snow that lasted for days and days. I had decided to trek to our local lake to see what was there. The lake reflected the steel gray sky and the snow was holding on right to the edge. All together, I think this photo is representing the minimalist theme.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
