Photo of the Day 25/366

Sunset from the Edge of the Field

This photo is from my archives. I took it perhaps 2-3 years ago. I love the winter view. For some, it’s too busy with the fence post, the grasses, the hills, clouds, setting sun…etc – but to me, it encompasses the feel of what winter should be. It is a beautiful scene. The scene is set across from a local township building so all I had to do was park in their lot, cross the road and – there was the scene. My timing was very fortunate and I got lucky.

Napping on the Bus

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Expressions: I knew this gent when I worked in our State Government more than 9 years ago. He usually had good advice and was older than I. He was a very good hearted man and was normally open to talking. This day, he was obviously tired after the day and fell asleep on the bus. I took advantage of the drive to take a quick photo of him. I did that often as most of the regulars knew I was a “camera nut.”. I guess that was right.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
