Photo of the Day 39/366

Cold Sunset at the Lake

While the weather has been great lately, the available time has been minimal. So, I took this photo from my archives. It was taken at about the same time of year as now, and was taken at our local State Park’s lake at sunset. The reflections, the lake and the lone canoe brings back great memories for me.  Enjoy!

Relaxation at the End of the Day

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Expression: This photo was taken at our previous home. The neighbors owned and boarded horses. I had many opportunities over that time to take photos of the horses and other farm animals. This one just presented himself to me at sunset poised in a relaxed stance, nibbling on the grass. When I see this photo (and others I have like it), I am reminded how these animals are just relaxed, waiting for whatever comes next – maybe we should be the same.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
