Photo of the Day 46/366

Sun Setting over the Backyard

I took this photo a couple of days ago after our latest snow storm. The view in the backyard was too pretty to pass up. I happened to see the fading light reflecting on the house, so I trudged down in the snow to see if I could catch the last rays of the sunset, and managed this photo. Not the best view, but I still like it.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Expression: This photo, yes, is a selfie. A few years ago, my kids got me a bandana as a Christmas gift. I thought it was cool as I don’t have much hair left. I tried it on and wanted to see how it looked. Well, in truth, it’s not “me” and looks a little goofy. So, I tried to ham it up for a selfie and have some fun with it. This is the result.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
