Geese at the Creek

Photo of the Day 54/366

I took this photo the other day on the way to work. The location is at the creek at the entrance to our University campus. The geese aren’t always in a spot for photographs and usually move away. This time, I was far enough away that they didn’t move. I remember their honking that morning, so getting them made the photo more memorable for me.

Looking Through the Outer Gate

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Friday Forms: I took this photo many years ago in New Orleans. We were just out for a walk and I was free to take whatever I wanted – and I shot whatever caught my eye. I really liked the pattern of the gate and the way the outer passage seemed to stretch back into some dark form. And I managed to get the shot (mostly) centered.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
