Sunset Through the Trees

Photo of the Day 57/366

This photo was taken a few weeks ago while out on a sunset drive. We do that sometimes, especially on the weekends when the sun is about 30 minutes from setting.  We’ll just go for a drive to see where we can catch a sunset. This was one of those shots. I like how the trees frame the farm buildings in the distance.

Pine Cone in the Grass

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Closeup: This photo was taken last evening. I went out for a walk trying to get some nice afternoon photos (a common theme in my life).  On the way back, we had to walk off the road due to traffic and I noticed the pine cones on the ground where we stepped off.  The sunset was gone by the afterglow was still in the sky so I tried to get the shot with the glow still on it.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
