Afternoon Lake Reflections

Photo of the Day 64/366

My youngest and I went for a hike to Pine Grove Furnace State Park yesterday. I was after lake shots and Fuller Lake did not disappoint.  The sky broke at one end allowing me to get this shot. The water was like glass and the reflections of the sky and the trees were spectacular. We hiked more than just the lake and there is another lake to explore next time. We want to come back a little later when spring has fully come into its own and the greens and flowers are rife for capturing.

Leaf Under Water

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Closeup: I took this photo while we were at Fuller Lake yesterday. It was warm enough we could wander about without our coats – so we did and as we hiked and meandered – I noticed this little leftover oak leaf in the water near the short. I thought it would be a good subject for the “closeup” category – it’s not a macro shot but I got as close to the water as I wanted…

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
