Sunset through the Tall Grass

Photo of the Day 65/366

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago. I was searching for a sunset. That afternoon, without clouds, just made for “blah” sunset. The colors were wonderful but I needed a subject to make up for the lack of clouds. I found some tall grass next to a field just before the sun set so this was the best I could come up with.

Light through a Purple Window

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Art: I took this photo more than 10 years ago. We were going to hear a band play and meet up with some friends at a local bar/club.  On the way up to the room, I noticed multiple windows with the establishment’s name on them. We were in a hurry so I didn’t get to shoot many photos but I did manage this one because the color was purple (my favorite). I’ve kept this one and never had it published – so here goes. Not sure it’s “art” but I liked it.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
