Sunset Through the Pines

Photo of the Day 81/366

I took this photo last weekend while out for a walk, I’ve been asked how I always get such pretty photos. The only thing I can answer is that I can see things others don’t. I can look at a small scene and see how to capture it. This is such an example – we all pass photos of the sun coming through the trees, but do they see the opportunity, do they stop, look, move a little here and there, just to get what they saw to fit into the camera? Maybe it’s the “hurry” – maybe it’s the vision – unknown – but I can and will continue t do so.

Smiling, Even in a Meeting

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Expression:  This photo was taken more than 10 years ago at my last place of employment. This young lady was a consultant for our State Agency and was always ready with a smile. I hated these meeting (still do, for the most part) and she could always throw you a disarming smile and a positive attitude. I haven’t seen or heard from her in years and I truly hope fate smiled in her direction.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
