Sunset through the Pine Trees

Photo of the Day 92/366

This photo was taken just down the road from my home. I’m usually glancing out our front windows just about the time for sunset to see if there will be a sunset sky. On this night, some times, ago, I noted the bright colors near the horizon but just puffy clouds higher in the sky. I took a chance to go and this was the scene.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Monochrome: This photo was taken last year on a trip to West Virginia. You could see these wind turbines for miles. They stretched over many of the mountain and hill tops and supplied energy (or so they said). For this view, we had stopped to see the hills on the other side and when I turned around, this view caught my eye.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
