Foggy Sunrise through the Trees

Photo of the Day 96/366

Yesterday morning was a VERY foggy morning. On top of that, I believed I had to make a detour on the way to work. So, on a new route, in the fog, I happened upon this scene and, as luck would have it, I was able to pull over into a parking lot and grab four or five shots of this scene. The scene was changing very quickly and the sun only shone for about three of my shots. I liked this one the best.

The Tea Ceremony

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Friday Creative: I took this original photo for this scene a few years ago at the Shofuso House near Philadelphia. The Tea Ceremony is very regimented, but somehow full of peace, elegance, and calm. While I truly enjoy the culture and the ceremony, I hated the tea. Sorry, just isn’t my taste, but I like the end result of my artistic treatment.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
