Murky Sunset over the Hill

Photo of the Day 127/366

This photo was taken in our neighbor’s yard sometime in the last few weeks. The sunset looked quite gloomy and I thought I would not get a shot when the clouds separated for a brief few moments and I was able to grab some photos. The sun was out for perhaps one or two moments and then back into the clouds.

Quote of the Day: “We must build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Capitol City as Evening Arrives

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Monochrome: This photo was taken at least 12 years ago when I worked for our state government. I worked late on many occasions and then, as now, I usually had a camera with me. I took this photo one day as I was taking a dinner break and the evening was coming. My office was on the 13th floor and we had floor to ceiling windows so I took advantage when I could. The view of the Capitol and the surrounding buildings was a good one.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
