Sunset Sky over the Green Field

Photo of the Day 129/366

Edited with Afterlight Photo

This photo was taken last evening. We had gone out to dinner and were warned of the coming rain storms. I had no hopes or allusions to a sunset or a nice sky. When we were almost home, I noticed that there was a break in the clouds and maybe we’d see a nice (nicer than gray) sky for moment. As we got even closer to home, the colors opened up and I decided to take a side road and found this view of the waning sunset colors over a green field. It topped off the day nicely.

Roses in Bloom

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Nature: I took this photo last year on a walk. The campus had planted pink roses near one of our building and I decided to take a try at a flower portrait. Due to various interruptions, I only got two shots and this one was the best. I love the soft texture and the vibrant colors of these roses.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
