Thin Line of Sunset Clouds at Day’s End

Photo of the Day 134/366

Edited with Afterlight Photo

Yesterday was Mother’s Day here in the US and we spent it in the hospital with our youngest. She had surgery a bit ago and had had some bleeding and needed blood transfusions. We were there the entire day and just gave support. This view greeted us as we were finally leaving the hospital. A hopeful end to the day.

Boardwalk to the Lighthouse

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Monochrome: This photo is from my archives and documents one of my favorite places on the southern end of the New Jersey coast. I love the nature walks at Cape May Point. In this photo, you can see the Cape May Lighthouse in the distance and the boardwalk that forms part of the nature trail at the park, there. It was a warm, spring day with few clouds and fewer people – definitely not high-season. Someday, perhaps, I’ll go back.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
