Misty Morning in the Deep Woods

Photo of the Day 135/366

This photo was taken a number of years ago, when we still had our cabin. Our cabin was a place of refuge for our young family. It was situated on the side of a mountain and this was the view from the back window. This morning view was in the spring after a rainy night. The mist and dew were heavy and the woods were silent. Peaceful.

Forgotten Glove on the Stair

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Everyday Life: This photo was taken many years ago when I worked for the state. I always went walking at lunch and many times, I took a camera. On the day I took this, I was walking down a street of brownstone type homes and noticed this glove just laying on the front step of an older building. Since it was lunchtime and that building did not appear occupied, the glove gave pause for thought. Whose was it?  Why was it just laying there, forgotten? The next day, it was gone – hopefully, the owner found it.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
