Colorful Sunset Sky

Photo of the Day 359/366

Last evening was a rough time. I had just left for karate classes when my wife called and said she had to go to the hospital to pick up her father, to take him back to the nursing facility – and she needed my car. So I waited for her to arrive and this sky presented itself to me while I waited. It had been a marvelous sunset and the aftermath of it was just amazing – it was worth waiting outside for her, in the cold, just to see this.

 I Love a Parade

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Daily Life: This photo was taken years ago when we were at our cabin and visiting the nearby town for a parade. It was a typical small town parade with bands, and organizations showing off, and there was this gent in an Uncle Sam costume which I thought was just so funny as it was oversized for the small farm of the person wearing it – and the bland expression of the lady directly behind him made it even better. Small town life.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
