Afternoon Sky over the Field and Hills

Photo of the Day 62/365

The wind was howling yesterday afternoon and I decided to go for a walk and see if I could catch a sunset. The temperature, though not frigid, was very cold with the wind, so there was only one trip outside. While I didn’t catch the sunset (too early), I did catch a very nice scene with the far hills, the afternoon clouds, and the field in the foreground.  It looks much warmer than it was.

Leaves, New and Old

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Fill-the-Frame: This photo was taken from my archives and was shot on one of my many walks in the woods. I remember seeing, in the eaarly spring, the leaves left on this only piece of wood – some new growth, and some leftovers from the previous fall. I thought it was a nice juxtaposition and I used my iphone’s portrait mode to try to get the focus on those leaves.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
