Now a birdbad my size🙃 Nice photos, what speed did you usen
Peter these particular ones my speed was 1/800 on 200-500mm lens @500mm, f/5.6 But the other day I was watching a short tutorial from Matt Kloskowski ( he is big into bird/wild life photography) and his suggestion was to raise the speed between 1600/3200 ( which is what he does) ISO on auto and f/5.6 or the lowest number one’s lens can accept and to shoot on continuous. He claims to shoot in that manner and his photos are razor sharp, so I think that is what I am going to experiment with next time.
I have seen it done that way. They shoot in RAW and work up the photo in editing. Many times the photos are very dark. It is a way photographing wildlife
Great fun! Good job!
