A visit to the Outer Hebrides absolutely must include vistas of ocean water, whether calm or stormy.  As the winds were uniformly strong and sometimes gusted to up to 70 mph the waves were frequently very high.  Often there was so much spray that it was impossible to get a shot because the lens was coated in salt water.  Some of these had hail, sleet and sun in the same image!
