The robes from a budhist monk are not holy. They are clothes and they got old and get a new purpose. People have respect for them, but in fact they are just clothes.

That is an interesting tidbit. I didn’t know that. I especially didn’t think they would be repurposed. 😊
Even the last Buddha gave up his clothes at one point. Some are kept by the family, but most get a new life.
