Beautiful photos Peter. Coincidently in about 2 weeks the Japanese garden at the University is having a presentation, which I am planning on attending. Supposedly the cherry blossom are in full bloom there as well. Looking forward to taking some photos.

I am cracking up at your title. I do like the light, it really emphasizes the Nike. The things that catch our eyes 😂 I wonder if non-photographers actually notice some of these things that we photographers see.

I am totally surprised as to how vacant it is and all that growth just from 6 months ago? Are they not planning to come back in the summer? Is this a standard thing in Antwerp or this one is an exception? Nice photos but rather sad demise.

Absolutely beautiful captures. There is definitely a reason they call the 50 a nifty, no matter what camera nor what aperture opening, it always does a great job of capturing beauty. The last photo does it for me, beautiful!! There is something about this “mask” that always grabs me whenever I see it on someone or on a display. You have done it justice with the sharpness, shadows and color in the last photo.

Fantastic captures, especially the ones of the buddha. To me what is amazing is the presence of a such a colorful, clean, well maintained buddha, surrounded by the cracked walls and dirt floor. Such a contrast, but so appealing to the eye. Thanks for the share.

Lesson learned, I guess. They really don’t look very study. I would think knowing how to swim would be a requirement, just in case. Are these the same type of boats (build) I’ve seen ( in pictures) where people live in and or have mobile grocery stores?

I never get tired of taking similar photos as your on a regular basis. Something about water, sky and boats. I find #3 and #4 being my favorite. #3 because of the colors and the boats filling the scene. #4 becuase of the composition. Your attempts this year are very well done in my opinion 😊
