The internatioal fireworks competition run by Casino Lac Leamy ended last night literally with a bang. It was interesting how the light sometimes made the National Gallery look as though it was on fire. It turned out that the steps of the Basilica were a great vantage point. 
That is one huge fireworks display and you caught some really good ones. #2 is my favorite and you are right it does look like the building is on fire.
Shooting fireworks was my challenge as I had never done them before, learned a lot. Not fascinated by them but a good exercise.

Yes, Maman is great. I agree about the fireworks but as they were only two blocks from me and I had never shot fireworks I had to try…😀
